The Bridge and Board meeting is conducted as best as possible according to Robert's Rules of Order. While this is an open meeting, only people who are placed on the agenda prior to each meeting may speak, unless the Bridge requests your input.
Open to youth who have completed the Learn to Sail program.
Our happy hour is open to members and visitors who want to learn more about the yacht club. Cash bar available. Members are asked to bring an appetizer to share.

Races start every Tuesday at 6PM in Little Bay, Rockport, TX
Skipper's Meeting at 5:45 PM prior to races every Tuesday evening.

Volunteers needed at the 2026 Lydia Ann Lighthouse Regatta. We need help both on-shore and on the water so get your friends together and come out to help and have fun.
Please Register TODAY! We have many opportunities available for volunteers. We need to get registered as soon as possible so that we can determine the number of volunteers at RYC so we can plan for after party. This is a great race and fantastic opportunity to help the youth learn and participate in a great sport.

On the water-

1 - Mark/Set Boat at Start - Will be Chase Boat after Start. Skipper and 2 Crew

On shore-
Bar - 2 Bar Tenders
Galley- Preparing Galley for After Party (2 to 3)
Clean up- Make sure the club is tidy, throw out garbage, keep bathroom tidy and top up supplies-Saturday- 1-2 people throughout the day/ Sunday- 1 person through the day and then 2-3 people at the end of the day
Docks- Launch & Retrieval for Green Fleet Only - Saturday and Sunday- 5 people each day minimum at RYC
Registration/Check-in (x4)- Afternoon at 1100- Check in of participants
The Skipper entry fee includes race entry, T-shirt, one meal wrist band, cash bar, and awards. Register for race at the Regatta Network. Link below.
Wristbands for dinner may be purchased for crew and guests at a cost of $20 each. Purchased wristbands will only be provided to the skipper making the purchase either at the Skippers Meeting or after-race party (otherwise register as a member/guest where the name of each individual is included).
T-shirts for crew and guests may be purchased in a separate registration at a cost of $25 each. To receive a T-shirt, the registration and payment must be received no later than July 28, 2026.

2026 Lydia Ann Lighthouse Regatta
Come and join in the fun of the Rockport Yacht Club 2026 Lydia Ann Lighthouse Regatta. Come dance with the winds while skippering your sailboat through the Lydia Ann Channel into Rockport, while ending the race with a celebration among friends and fellow comrades, with music, drinks, and dinner.
A cash bar will be available!

Lydia Ann Regatta After Party
Bar, Music, Tall Tales, Awards, and After Race Celebration
This registration is used for anyone (other than the skipper) who wants to have a wristband for the meal served following the regatta. A cash bar is also available. One registration may be used for multiple people; however, the contact information for each additional guest must also be included.
NOTE: If this registration is for a crew member or guest participating in the race a liability release shall be required with the contact information.
Registration must be completed by August 21, 2025.

Welcome to the 2026 USSCA/ISCA SW Regional Sunfish Races.
The Rockport Yacht Club is very excited to announce and bring this race to the Texas Coast. This years event will be held on August 15 & 16th, 2026 and will consist of a maximum of seven (7) races over two (2) days. This is a ISCA Regional race where the overall winner will secure a spot in the 2027 USSCA/ISCA World Championship.
