Rockin' Rockport Regatta Galley August 18-19. 2018

A few more volunteers are needed to help in the galley for the RRR.  The times are Sat. and Sun. from 7-9 a.m. or Saturday afternoon from 1-5.  Please let me know if you will be able to help.

Thanks to the members who have already signed up to bake cookies for the RRR!

We still need a few more members to help by baking cookies.  These cookies are for us to serve for snacks when the kids, coaches and volunteers come in from the race course!  The cookies have been a hit these past two years and were one of the reasons our regatta was named the Best Regatta in  the Texas Sailing Association Youth Series in 2016!

You may bring your cookies to the club on Friday, August 17, during Happy Hour. If this time is not convenient for you, please let me know and we will make arrangements to meet.   If you have questions, please contact me.

The Nautical Flea Market 2019 will be on May 4th and 5th.  Members should block out some time to support this event, as it is the only fundraiser (except for dues) that we have during the year.  Vendors should get their places reserved early to make sure that they get the best spot by contacting Bill Coxwell at:

Don't forget about the Friday night social hour- open bar, bring a snack, renew aquaintenances and make new friends.  Start time is 5:30 pm until ---

It is the end of the season for the Sunfish races.  Come out and cheer on your favorite boat.

The Texas Sailing Association Youth Regatta held at the Rockport Yacht Club will be on August 18th and 19th.  All members should join in and support youth sailing and this regatta - either as a viewer or a volunteer worker.
